Monkey Mountain

To finish KK's Birthday weekend, we visited La Montagne des singes (Monkey Mountain) in Kintzneim, France.  This was such a neat experience.  Hundreds of monkeys live in this enclosed park. You are given a handful of popcorn when you enter the park to feed the monkeys.  They hang out down by the man made path, railings and benches and await visitors to feed them.

I have to say it was so worth it to finally make it to Monkey Mountain.  We had quite a time finding the park.  We didn't realize that we lost our phone GPS once we crossed the boarder between Germany and France and were going off of what we could remember.  We got ourselves so lost and eventually had to turn our phone on and roam to finally find our way.  The drive took us 4 hours instead of just over 2, but as I said the experience made it worth while.












KK finally ate her leftover birthday cake from Chile's.
