Our Move to Portland, Oregon

Our move to Portland, Oregon was definitely eventful. I would have to say it was not an easy or fun drive. We left Albuquerque with 2 cats and John and I in the cab of a Budget Rental Truck. We were towing the Explorer and the Mustang was still in the body shop. The truck and Explorer were packed full. Bootsie and Scotty did great despite the multiple breakdowns and mishaps along the way. We even saw some personality in Scotty; he climbed out of the carrier and road on the dashboard most of the way. What a daredevil!

We were relieved and exhausted when we arrived in Portland. We were very happy with our first apartment at the Southparc apartment complex... The cats were also happy to be out of the car with space to roam. It was time to get settled in and check out our new home and city.
