Today started out as usual.... morning cartoons. KK and Hailey enjoyed watching Mickey Mouse Club House (both close up and back in their comfy chairs as can be seen by the following pics).
Unfortunately part of the afternoon was spent at the doctor for Kaitlyn and I as she was complaining of her ears hurting and when I took a peak, sure enough, she had pretty nasty ear infections in both ears. Poor KK. I am afraid we may be looking at PE tubes soon=(
After a good nap, numbing drops, and motrin, she was back to her old self (We started antibiotics too, its not the immediate reliever!). We were able to keep our evening plans with Tristan, Keri and Hailey to go to dinner and see the Lights of the South. Dinner was at Ruby Tuesdays. As we were heading to the Lights of the South, it started Raining. It was a Portland, Oregon misty type of rain, but apparently that is hard enough to keep all Georgians from attending events so Light of the South was empty and they weren't charging admission. The bad thing was they also weren't doing the Hay ride, so we trekked the muddy walk with one (made for sidewalk) stroller (both girls piled in) for what seemed like miles to check out the lights. It was pretty darn funny! Man were we in the sticks!
After our long, muddy walk, the girls got to get a picture together with santa (see next post) and we got some hot cocoa and a rice crispy treat to split at the concession stand before heading home.
