We ended the crazy day by celebrating Christmas as planned this evening as Hailey was feeling well enough to do so. The only thing we had to cut out was going out to dinner, given our earlier sushi incident.
KK is finally at the age that she is more excited in the gift than the paper or the box=) Hailey is not quite there yet, except that she loves balls, so the gift from KK was pretty darn cool.
Man did KK fly through the opening of her gifts. She was like the tasmanian devil zipping through the desert. She would rip the paper off one and throw her hand up in excitement (score) and then grab the next. There was wrapping paper everywhere. It was hard to keep up with her! When hers were all opened, she started grabbing those that didn't belong to her.... If there is a high from opening gifts, she had it! Then it was time for her to want every gift of hers out of their packages so she could play with them....
KK's definitely headed for the medical field and Auntie Keri is just helping her along=)
