Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, and the Island of Galveston

Uncle Mark flew in from Albuquerque to spend the weekend with Karen in Houston and Us! We drove down to Houston this am and finally had the opportunity of meeting Karen. We had heard so much about her, but had never met.

Karen and Uncle Mark took us down to check out the Kemah Boardwalk and the Island of Galveston. We had a great day!

Kaitlyn enjoyed her Mac'n'cheese and french fry (yes, only one=)) and katchup at the Salt House Steak House at the Kemah Boardwalk.

After spending the afternoon in Kemah, we drove down to Galveston Island. We spent some time walking along the beach before heading home. The recent distruction caused by Hurricane Ike can still be seen throughout the island.
