We left Vancouver, Canada on May 26th to make our way up the inside passage.

Our first stop was Katchikan, Alaska on May 28th. We loved the small town and had a blast catching crabs.... No really, we paid for an excursion that went out in the bay and caught real crabs. Then we enjoyed a delicious crab dinner!!

We can't forget to mention the 2 formal nights on board ship. We had a great time getting dressed up and celebrating our new marriage.

Our next stop was Juneau on May 29th. We visited the Mount Roberts Tramway. It had some amazing views. We also stopped by the Red Dog Saloon before going whale watching. It was a busy but fun day!

Our Skagway excursion on May 30th included a Gold Rush Train Tour and a stop in a bar for a bite to eat. The train ride showed us the Alaskan Wilderness in all its' beauty.

May 31st, we spent on board ship in Glacier Bay. We had the opportunity to see calving of glacier. It was freezing on deck, but the views were well worth the cold and wind.

We cruised by College Fjord on June 1st and disembarked in Seward early on June 2nd. This concluded our cruise portion of the trip. We rode a motor coach to anchorage and boarded a small plane to Fairbanks. In Fairbanks, we went on an afternoon Riverboat "Discovery" cruise and then spent the night at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge.

On June 3rd, we boarded the Princess Midnight Sun Express to Denali National Park. Our day included an all day Natural History tour of the Park, with lots of wildlife and an awesome view of Denali. It isn't often that the clouds disperse enough to see the summit and it was the perfect end to the day.

Day 2 in Denali National Park took us to the Nenana River where we went Whitewater Rafting.
Wet suits were a must as the Alaskan waters, no matter what time of year, were freezing.

The Midnight Sun Express was our transportation back to Anchorage on June 4th with an overnight stay at Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. We flew home on June 5th. Our honeymoon could not have been more memorable!!!
